Porcelain Crowns

Porcelain crowns effectively fix dental issues, thereby helping improve your confidence. Made of dental ceramic materials, porcelain crowns have a translucency that mimics the natural enamel of your teeth. Porcelain that's fused to metal is another dental crown option that's available.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is a procedure in which our dentist applies a tooth-colored resin material (a durable plastic material) to your tooth and hardens it with a special light. Bonding can be used to repair decayed, chipped, fractured, or discolored teeth.

Unlike veneers, which are created in a laboratory and require a customized mold to achieve the proper fit, bonding can be done in a single visit to our office. It takes about 30 to 60 minutes per tooth to complete.

The procedure is called bonding because the material that's used is bonded to the tooth. If you need a decayed tooth repaired, bonding is your ideal solution. Bonding can also be utilized to close spaces between teeth or as a cosmetic alternative to amalgam fillings. Unless the bonding is being used to fill a decayed tooth, anesthesia is not necessary.
